The Night Show

The Night Show is the Dissertation project for my degree, it is a Late Night style talk show, with it's research aim being to discover how important ideas of truth and honesty are to good entertainment in the Late Night genre. I sourced the cast and crew for this project, luckily being able to pull on crew from previous studio based shows. The guest where gathered from around Norwich, where the show was based, which meant that I was also able to look into how the status of the celebrity has an impact of the entertainment value.

I directed the project from the gallery and ran in like a Live show meaning it was shot to time (25 minutes exactly). This brought its own challenged such as the moving of set and cameras from one set up to another. This was rehearsed many times and I believe in the final produce was executed perfectly.

As the producer of The Night Show I also had to fill in the legal paperwork needed, including release forms for everyone on screen as well as music cue sheets for the band and health and safety forms, looking particularly and the changing set and the food challenges.
