ARCHIE TWINE
Video Editor and Production Assistant
Recently graduated with 1st class honours in Film and television production (July 2024), while at university I gained additional experience in a wide range of work, including client based advertising and awareness films, long form podcasting and live television production, in studio and as an outside broadcast.
This enabled me to establish myself as a quality-driven Editor and Production team member with excellent attention to detail and deadlines. I have experience working with a range of professional and amateur talent as well as a variety of clients from educational institutions to charities and individuals, with a notable focus on issues of diversity and inclusion.
NOTABLE WORK
Communication Access UK Charity & Issue awareness film
2023
This short informational film aimed to raise awareness of the difficulties those with both visible and invisible disabilities face when communicating, this was coupled with the Communication Access UK Training initiative that aims to help solve this. This film was a part of the campaign to help the university become one of the first institutions to make the training mandatory for all staff. Since then Access to Communication has become an integral part of the Universities inclusivity work and this film was a finalist for the 2023 Innovation and Impact award.
As Director and Video Editor of the project I worked closely with the Charity and Academic lead from the University to create the right tone and include all the vital information needed.
The annual Fight Night at the University of East Anglia is hosted and organised by the Universities MMA society, however this was the first year that they had asked for it to be broadcasted, an opportunity that when presented to me I couldn't pass. As the Director of the broadcast I worked with the event's production crew throughout the process in order to at first establish the right treatment and feel of the show as well as keeping to the professional style of Combat Sports television. I then sourced and organising a crew and commentary team that would take us through the entire 3 hour show.
The event was a big success and went on to win "Event of the year" 2024 with the broadcast itself receiving special commendation as part of this.
